So the PC and SNP are playing to the gallery to muscle in on the NATIONAL TV debates. Fine – put candidates in all the seats in England, Wales and Scotland then with sister parties in Northern Ireland.
And that goes for UKIP/Greens/BNP – put your money where your mouth is and put forward candidates in EVERY SINGLE SEAT as mentioned above. Only parties that do that (barring a mishap in a seat or two) should be able to take part in the national debates.
On this issue the BBC have done the right thing – allowing regional debates and given means to others (special coverage of the Greens in Sussex?) seperately.
“Only parties that do that (barring a mishap in a seat or two) should be able to take part in the national debates.”
So you think the Lib Dems should be barred from the national debates then? 😉
