Three of us did our `Bette Midler dance routine` yesterday afternoon (Involves finger tapping numbers `from a distance` ring ring) and nearly helped get the indefatiguable Rick Seymour elected. Unfortunately he lost by 23.

Think it represents a swing from Lab to LD of 15% where there was no campaign before. The byelection was caused by death of sitting Lab cllr.
