Is the Guardian the new `Pravda`?

I comically nickname the Mirror `Pravda`. You know what you’re getting with it – a daily dose of Campbellian spin.

However, I’m curious to see that the Guardian has failed to pick up on the story of the £252m ID cards fiasco. I googled it and searched on the Guardian website. All to no avail.

This is true also of the lesser-known story that we should be shouting from the rooftops too. That of the court case that stopped private companies fleecing National Minimum Wage earners. Nothing in the Grauniad about that either.

My my, how standards are slipping.
