Engaging activists for Henley

I agree with the many blog entrants that thought that the entreaties to go to Crewe and our campaigning there were wildly optimistic, in many cases wrong-headed and in some cases quite vacuous.

No one is denying the difficulty in setting up such a campaign and we raise our hats to those that did so and went to help.

The problem is that it’s not enough to do `business as usual` campaigning but start CHALLENGING CONSERVATIVES on policies explaining OUR own policies. Some of these should be discussed as SOLUTIONS!

In that respect I was delighted to see the item on housing on Stephen Kearney’s website saying what we would do. In Vince Cable we have someone who is a cut above the rest. There are many voters in Henley who are thirsty for a different voice – and with Labour out of the running let’s appeal to them with PROFESSIONAL SMART QUALITY. We have bold, distinctive policies. It’s time to cut the crap and tell it as it is on the economy, crime and environment.
