It seems that being leader of the NUS is like a militant training ground for Labour MPs ie the likes of Straw or Woolas. For Mr Porter I’ll give it five years. You know the speech `when I was younger I was a bit naive, a bit of a firebrand. Now I’m interested in supporting those students and fighting the condem cuts`.
As for Ed M’s leadership – I give it 6 months or it could be `all over by Christmas`!
