Although I’m happy if BBC6 is saved there needs to be a reasessment of music programming.
We need a new `John Peel figure` on Radio 1 which has become a kind of `kids radio`. People looking for a more diverse and deeper reach of modern music should have a champion on the BBC.
Come on BBC – be bold and give those who want more than chart fodder a flagship show on national FM/DAB radio.
