At a large supermarket last week I asked for cashback for £50 – I received two twenties and one ten. So far so good. The problem was that the back one was a fake – not picked up by the member of staff. The ironic thing was that I went to buy something at the same shop using it. Their response was `it couldn’t have come from this shop`. I’ve written to their customer services saying `if you can’t look after my money like I can why should I shop at your store`.
BEWARE – DON’T ACCEPT 20s AS PART OF CASHBACK – HIT BACK WHERE IT HURTS OTHERWISE SUPERMARKETS WILL NEVER CHANGE THEIR WAYS.
Perhaps Lib Dem Councils can do spot checks as a way of working with the Police or at least campaigners put it on their leaflets.
