I had this profound thought while watching old movies made of ordinary people in the early 1900s. Everyone in it must be dead! That’s quite spooky – a bit like a whole pogrom had gone on by time!
It’s only in the last couple of decades that this phenomena has happened – before it was art pictures that brought history to life visually. Now there is absolute history from BOTH art AND film.
