Just heard this horrendous Labour dinosaur (another awful clapped out new labour estuary accent – clapped out because HE’S so clapped out in his thinking) on `World at One`.
Apparently he’s paid £20,000 a year as a consultant to the `build the third runway campaign`. He was asked whether he would do that if he didn’t believe it. `Yes i’m fully on board with it and would vote for it anyway`.
I see – so let’s get this straight: When thousands of his erstwhile constituents are suffering in the recession he is taking an extra £20,000 on top of his parliamentary pension – I wonder what Andrew Slaughter MP thinks!
I trust the Local Lib Dems are busy taking that in!
