At 6:17 today on Today prog the Economic reporter said that Government guarantees to business were a Conservative idea. I have pointed out the wider view!
Yesterday I pointed out that on another programme they used two intellectuals – Steve Richards and a guy from the Spectator – to put the framework of the two main parties yet no one who was a tacit Liberal Democrat.
I await these answers with interest.
There remains a defining issue (despite a quality answer to an earlier posting on this site) – Does the BBC EXACERBATE the narrative that it’s all really between Labour and Conservatives (ie let’s just reflect orthodoxy) or does it REPORT innovatively and comprehensively all views and policies in British politics.
This is no small deal – the Economy, and how the parties respond, will be a defining issue.
