I found the speech both reassuring and slightly unusual. It was very clear with some punchy lines. What impressed me most was the passion and ANGER that was shown. I had not seen this side of Ming before.
To my mind it was well-crafted, rounded with complete CLARITY. Substance was the key indeed depth. No glitz or gloss – people are fed up with that anyway – just Ming being Ming and stating it like it is.

I couldn’t agree more. I also think he sounded confident. Saw Cameron’s speech the other day and he didn’t convince me that he was even slightly optimistic, should the balloon go up.
